Registering A New Domain Name
If you would like to register a new domain
name, please click the Find a Domain link above to search for a domain. After you have found your domain of choice, proceed to the Buy a Domain page to complete the necessary registration information.

FTP Information
Uploading your web site for the first
time:
If your domain name is already pointed at the name servers listed
above and your account is setup, then you can use the host name
(www.yourdomain.com) in the host name field of your ftp client.
If your domain name is not pointed at the name servers listed above
and your account is setup, then you can use the host name (web1.webhostinglogic.com)
in the host name field of your ftp client.
Other information that will be asked of you by your ftp client include
your (User Name) and (Password). Both of these pieces of information
will be either confirmed from the form which you submitted to setup
your account or a new user name and password will be given to you
by our tech team.
If your ftp client asks you for a directory to enter into upon logging
into the server, you can use either /home/your-user-name or you
can use /home/your-user-name/yourdomain.com or you can use nothing!
You are not required to specify a directory to login. Our server
will direct you to your home directory upon logging in. In your
directory, you will find folders for each of your website(s).
Where to put your files:
Once you've logged into the server using
ftp, you will find a folder in your home directory for your website
(yourdomain.com).
Place all of your html, image files, etc. in the directory labled
(yourdomain.com).

Place all of your PERL and CGI scripts in the directory labled (yourdomain.com/cgi-bin).

If you are using our SSL services, we will place a folder in the
directory for your website called (secure).

If you have any PERL or CGI scripts that need to run from the secure
server using SSL, we also provided a (cgi-bin) within the directory
